There will be another Christmas tour featuring Amy Grant and husband Vince Gill for fifteen dates starting December 4 in Manchester, NH and finishing off on December 22 and 23 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.
According to CMT.com, there will be twelve-piece orchestra including horns, a departure from the more grandiose orchestra. Says Vince Gill, “Some of our earlier Christmas tours were with a symphony orchestra. This time, though, we wanted to create more of an intimate, living room feel.”
Her latest Christmas album, The Holiday Collection is already available in stores, featuring songs from her previous Christmas albums plus four new tracks specially for this recording.
Wish I could whisk my way down to the Manchester show, but I’ll be working that day and my wife is in too ‘delicate’ a condition to make the trip.
